**HTTP status:** `422`. May also be reported as a field-level finding in `error.details[]`.

One or more parts in the request do not satisfy the published part schema or a content rule. The request is refused whole; nothing was sent or recorded.

## Troubleshooting

- Read details\[] for the exact param (a JSON Pointer into your request) and each field’s own fault code.
- Fetch the offending part’s schema from GET /v1/parts/{type}; validation rejects and points, it never coerces.
