**HTTP status:** `422`. May also be reported as a field-level finding in `error.details[]`.

The value at param is well-typed and within bounds but violates a rule such as a pattern, a range or a forbidden character run. Correct the value and resend.

## Troubleshooting

- Inspect error.param / details\[].param and the accompanying message, which names the rule.
- For to, from, exclude and reply\_to\_message\_id the accepted forms are documented on the send operation.
