**HTTP status:** `409`.

The create call may have reached the channel but its answer is unknown, so the local record cannot say whether the template exists there. This state is permanent for this name until reconciled.

## Troubleshooting

- Do not resubmit under the same name; read GET /v1/templates after registry reconciliation, or contact support with the request\_id.
