2015: Operation conflicts with current state

HTTP status: 409.

The resource is in a state that conflicts with the requested operation. This is an HTTP 409 error. Common causes include editing or reacting to a message that has been deleted, or mutating a chat that is in a transitional state.

On POST /v3/messages without from, this error means there was no eligible sending line: none of your assigned phone numbers can currently send.

• Refresh the resource before retrying (e.g., re-fetch the chat or message)
• If you are racing a delete or status change, wait for the relevant webhook before retrying
• For POST /v3/messages with no eligible sending line, review your numbers’ reputation in the Linq dashboard under Analytics → Fleet Status, and contact support with the trace_id if a number should be eligible
